30 Day Action Plan - Day 28 : A Follow-Up System (Step-By-Step Guide To Building A Profitable Niche Marketing Business - Part 9 of 27)The new visitors you are sure to generate for your website are called “unique visitors.” Gaining unique visitors at a substantial pace is well and good, but for sustainable success, you should not rely on new visitors alone. And you don’t have to lose old ones. You must give your visitors a reason to come back. Constantly updating your content would help. But you need something more, something that will remind them that your website exists and that they should try visiting your pages once more. The best way to do this is through a follow-up system. A follow-up system, also called a mailing list or an opt-in list, is a system that will allow you to capture the contact details of your visitors so that you are able to reach them in the future and invite them to return to your website. The heart of a follow-up system is an excellent autoresponder service. I only have one recommendation for this. How do you place your website on the very first page of the search engine results? First thing’s first… you should never rest on your laurels. Building a website does not stop once your pages have been published online. In fact, such should be the beginning of your journey. Continue submitting articles to the article directories. Continue publishing entries on your blog. Find relevant online communities, or forums, and publish as many posts as you can. Make sure that a link to your website is included in your signature box. Always distribute emails to the subscribers of your mailing list so that they have a reason to come back to your website. Continue to update your content. Search engine spiders love regularly updated content. But bear in mind that you’re not expected to get things right the first time around. Don’t pressure yourself too much. Give yourself some leeway to commit mistakes. Wise men say that we learn through our errors, after all. But we should not allow them to happen every time. Mistakes will become fatal if we don’t do anything to correct them. And you can only correct these mistakes if you have pinpointed and analyzed them. The best way to analyze the performance of your website is by taking advantage of tools that allow you to spy on your visitors. Know where they’re coming from so that you can determine if you’re marketing in the right places. Know how much time they spend on your website so that you can determine if your content is engaging enough for them. Know where they go to after visiting your pages so that you can determine their needs and desires. Only after a careful study of your website’s statistics will you be able to make the proper adjustments. Whether it’s the content, the presentation, the ad placement, the links positioning, the navigation menu, and the like… you first have to determine what you’re doing wrong before you can improve your website. Ask any marketer online or offline and he’ll tell you that consumer behavior is the one factor that can never be predicted. Well, that changed when Jonah came up with Adtrackz. Now, studying and improving on your website should be a continuous process. Once you have attained the highest performance level possible, make it a point to review your stats at least once every two months. This will ensure that your website always remains competitive and that the handsome income you’re getting from it is sustained.
By now, you should be getting some AdSense clicks. The goal is to increase the number of your visitors so that you’ll have better chances of securing more clicks, which would mean more income for your online endeavor. And you can do this by continuing the powerful strategies we have discussed in the previous lessons. Never let up. Work and work until your website is earning at least $5 a day. After that, increase your goal to $10. Your goal should always get higher and higher, until you reach a level you’re satisfied with. Most webmasters peg this daily goal at $25. Once your website achieves such an average, you can leave it be, and periodically check out its performance. What should you do then? Replicate, of course! Find a new niche and build a new website for it. Repeat the processes we have discussed here. Do this over and over again until you have a battalion of websites working for you. If each of them can earn an average of $25 a day, you’d have an income of $750 a month… for one website alone! Imagine if you have 10 websites. You’d have a monthly take of $7,500! Now, imagine if you have 50, or even 100 websites. The possibilities are endless! And best of all, they’re within your reach! So repeat the process and realize why AdSense can be your ticket to a world of wondrous wealth!
