Though both Internet network marketing and traditional marketing are types of marketing, there are some fundamental differences between the two. The bigger the pyramid base, the more benefits you will reap at the top of the because not only will you be earning a percentage of commission from the sales of products or services made by these associates below the line, but you will also take home a cut each time one more associate joins the program! The sustainability of traditional marketing, however, is through its strong distributor network, though strictly non- pyramid in nature because the distributors are not networked and have no bearing on each other.

Is Internet Network Marketing Better?

Internet network marketing has its drawbacks, undeniably, but the pros strongly outweigh the cons. At the end of the day, any business has an agenda, that of making money for you, and online network marketing is one of the best ways to do so by cashing in on the leveraged income advantage and, in some cases perpetrate a spate of residual income succession for you. The surge in the popularity of the Internet network marketing business has been because of some very simple reasons.

- Internet network marketing has a very wide reach and is not geographically bound to a single physical space. If you have a ready access to a computer and Internet, you can be an online network marketing champ, whereas in traditional marketing, geographical constraints place a very big hindrance.

- Costs involved with the online network marketing business are usually less, so the chances of making a loss and filing for bankruptcy are also very few. Worst case, you will lose some money! (God forbid!)

- Internet network marketing is relatively less strenuous. It pays to be an Internet marketer than a traditional one because the lesser demands the Internet online marketing places on your time – and that makes it a far superior option to the latter especially if you are home-bound, physically challenged, or are exploring alternative career options.
